4 Days Birding in Murchison Falls National Park

Over 650 bird species have been recorded in this national park classified in categories of Savannah forest birds, water birds and Albertine endemic.
Day to day
Early transfer to Mabamba swamp. Look out for different birds like the papyrus gonolek, white shouldered tit, red cap, western banded snake eagle, the shoebill, and many more.
Transfer to Masindi for dinner and overnight.
Depart early morning for Budongo Forest, birding along the Royal Mile, a truly spectacular road with forest canopy towering far overhead. Expect birds like the Nahan's Francolin, white-thighed hornbill, graceful cassins and sabine's spinetail, blue-throated roller, forest robin, among others. On lucky days the chimps can be encountered.
Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park for check in in your lodge, dinner and overnight.
The boat trips to the bottom of the falls and Nile Delta will undoubtedly be the highlights of the visit. Several birds and animals will be seen such as the red-throated and northern carmine bee-eater, rothschild's giraffe, elephant, waterbuck, saddle-billed stork, haugglins francolin, pygmy and striped kingfishers, among others.
After breakfast, you will visit top of the falls and transfer to Kampala or Entebbe to catch your flight.
