Day to day

Day 1: Arrival

On the first day of your 4 days safari, on arrival at Entebbe International Airport you will be welcomed by our smart representative (your driver guide) and transfer to your hotel for check in. He will brief you about your safari and go to your room to rest.

A city tour in the afternoon is possible on this day.

Day 2: Kampala - Lake Mburo National Park

After an early mornig breakfast, you will meet your driver guide and transfer from Kampala to Lake Mburo National Park. Your journey to Lake Mburo National Park will give you an opportunity to see the beautiful landscapes of Uganda made of rolling hills and cultivated terraces. You will make a stop at the Equator monument for a picture break and proceed to the park to check in your loge.  After lunch, you will go for a boat ride on Lake Mburo where you will encounter with plenty of wildlife and aquatic life such as crocodiles and hippos.

Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight

Day 3: Lake Mburo National Park - Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

After morning breakfast, enjoy an early morning game drive, and then transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. The rolling hills, tea plantations and, tropical rain forests make this region stunning!

In the afternoon you can do a community walk or a nature walk in the park or around your lodge.

Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Gorilla Tracking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

After early morning breakfast you will transfer to the park headquarters for a briefing on the dos and don't during the gorilla tracking activity. You will then set off to the forest to search for mountain gorillas.

When you find the gorillas, you are allowed to spend one hour with them. You are allowed to take photos and videos for memories. Return to your lodge for relaxing.

Day 5: Golden Monkey Tracking

On this day, after an early morning breakfast, you will transfer to the starting point for golden monkey tracking for briefing on the dos and don'ts during the tracking activity. Golden monkeys are beautiful unique primates found on the slopes of Virunga Volcanoes which are shared between Rwanda, Uganda and D R Congo. In Uganda golden monkey tracking is done in Mgahinga gorilla National Park in southwestern Uganda.

When you find them you are allowed to spend one hour with them.

In the afternoon, you can visit the batwa in their community or you can canoe across Lake Mutanda.

Day 6: Hike across Bwindi Impenetrable National Park (16 km)

After a very early breakfast, drive along the Nteko ridge till the junction of the Ivy river trail with the forest and then start the unforgettable hike across the forest (13km)

During this walk there are opportunities to see several monkey species, birds, plants, duikers, bush pigs, butterflies, and mountain gorillas.

Upon arrival at the park headquarters, you will meet with your driver guide and transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park (Southern part). The Southern part of Queen Elizabeth is famous for the tree climbing lions in the Ishasha sector. The lions can be spotted hanging on tree branches. The Uganda kob are spotted grazing in the park.

Check in your lodge, have dinner and go to your rooms to rest.

Day 7: Queen Elizabeth National Park

On this day, after breakfast you will do a game drive in Uganda's oldest national park. In the afternoon you will enjoy a boat trip on the Kazinga Channel, which connects Lake George and Lake Edward. The Kazinga Channel has the world's largest concentration of hippos. The boat ride also gives you an opportunity to view game and birds on the banks.

Day 8: Queen Elizabeth National Park - Kibale National Park

After breakfast, you will do a game drive and then transfer to Kibale Forest National Park in the afternoon via Fort Portal, Uganda's most beautiful and cleanest town. If time allows, you can visit the "top of the world" to enjoy the fantastic views of the Rwenzoris, creater lakes, tea plantations, and local villages.

Day 9: Chimpanzee tracking

On this day, you will get up very early, have your breakfast and transfer to the park headquarters for briefing on the dos and don'ts during the chimpanzee tracking activity. You will then enter the forest and start searching for the chimpanzees. Kibale Forest is popular for being home to the largest number of Chimpanzees in Africa (the primate capital)

Kibale is also hosts the L'Hoest's monkey, red colobus monkey, black and white colobus, red tailed monkey, olive baboon, grey cheeked mangbey, bush baby, and potto. Return to your lodge for lunch.

In the afternoon, you will explore the Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary, which benefits the community. The sanctuary is a paradise for bird watchers. At today 138 species of birds have been recognized within the Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary, which include the Great Blue Turaco.

Day 10: Kibale - Murchison Falls National Park

After an early morning breakfast, transfer to Murchison Falls National Park located in the Northern part of the Albertine rift valley, where the sweeping Bunyoro escarpment tumbles into the vast palm dotted savannah, the park is bisected by the Victoria Nile. The river plunges here 45 meters from the rift valley wall thus creating the dramatic Murchison Falls, centerpiece of the park. The stretch of the river into Lake Albert provides one of Uganda's most remarkable wildlife spectacles.

Day 11: Game drives and boat

Day 11 of this safari is dedicated to discovering the special Murchison Falls National Park.

After breakfast, you will do a morning game drive, enroute to the Nile Delta boat safari in this spectacular area teeming with bird species several endemic species like the shoebill and red-throated bee-eater and wildlife like the Rothschild's giraffe.

In the afternoon, schedule a boat safari to the Waterfalls. Game drive on the way back to the lodge.

Day 12: Murchison Falls National Park - Kampala

After early morning game drive, depart to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for Rhino tracking. After lunch, continue to Entebbe for your departure.
